This 92-suite Residence Inn is part of a 244-bed double-stacked hotel scheme in central Slough.
This Marriott branded hotel, situated in the city’s regeneration zone, offers a unique guest experience for both business and pleasure, with spaces to meet and relax and elegant and edgy rooms and suites.
To give the hotel a local narrative our interiors team cleverly connected elements of the interiors to reflect Slough’s railway heritage. Offering a mix of studio and one-bed units each suite enjoys dining, seating and kitchenettes which can equally accommodate the business traveller and the leisure guest. As an extended stay suites hotel, the brief from the brand holder, Marriott International, was to design a relaxing and restful ‘home away from home’. The warm and inviting interiors mix contemporary styling with natural tones. For the business traveller the public areas offer a range of flexible working and meeting spaces. For the leisure guest the emphasis is on comfort and convenience.
Working closely with European hotel operator Cycas Hospitality, Franklin Ellis took the scheme from inception to completion, providing spaces to meet and work. A home-from-home feel makes it easy to relax in the generously-sized suites.
