Architecture is our core business. We have a broad range of expertise across many sectors and a motivated and professional team delivering high-quality developments throughout the UK.

Franklin Ellis have been commissioned to design a vast range of buildings over the last 25 years, many of which were award winning and some more functional, but all have been designed with the aim of delivering the best possible outcome for our clients.

Our design process is underpinned by a number of key principles, developed to accommodate a wide range of client objectives.

Clarity

Our aim is to ensure that all of our communication in whatever form is as clear as possible. From selling an idea to delivering instructions on site, our focus is to remove complexity and improve understanding at all levels.

Context

Our aim is to fully understand both our client’s objectives and the context of any development proposal. This includes the financial, social and physical context all of which will play a key role in defining the design drivers behind each commission.

Balance

Our aim is be the firm hand on the tiller that allows the best balance to be agreed in a complex design process.

Respect

Our aim is to work in an atmosphere of collaboration and challenge. Collaboration is vital because the design process is highly complex and technical, and we constantly challenge ourselves as there is a continuous need for improvement in the industry and greater efficiency.

Care

Our aim is to ensure that our building designs respond positively to the needs of their users and the environment in which they sit. This care is based on shared values and the desire that everyone who has played a part in a building’s delivery should have a shared sense of achievement and pride in the outcome.
