A full conversion of a former Hilton hotel to a new Holiday Inn Express, with a full refurbish of the interiors to meet the new generation design for this brand.
119 existing guestrooms were completely refurbished with new en-suites, and redundant facilities and meeting rooms were converted to create an additional 32 new guest-rooms with en-suites. The public spaces were refurbished, and the front of house area was completely stripped out to allow a comprehensive new interior concept. A new curtain walling façade allows light to flood into the guest arrival areas. The new interior design to the great room has delivered an exciting multi-functional space for dining, socialising and working in a contemporary environment.
