Congratulations to Sarah and Oliver on their promotions to the newly created ‘Associate Director’ role! Our new Associate Directors will continue to lead projects, be front and centre on client relationships and contribute to the strategic management of FEA.
Both Sarah and Oliver have been Associates with us for more years than they would like stated! Each bring a unique set of skills and sector experience.
Sarah Boxford
Sarah has played a crucial role in several high-profile projects, across a wide variety of sectors, particularly leading in Healthcare, Private Rented and Purpose-Built Student Accommodation.
She successfully designed and delivered the UK’s first ‘hospice in a hospital’ in Grantham, which won Best End of Life Care Building at the Building Better Healthcare Awards.
She has played a key role in achieving planning approvals for numerous buildings FE are now delivering on site, notably an Aston Martin Showroom, British Waterways Building conversion and New Lubbesthorpe Local Centre.
Known for her client-focused approach, meticulous attention to detail and innovative design approach, Sarah’s promotion to Associate Director is a natural progression in her career at Franklin Ellis.

Oliver Higgins
Oliver works closely with clients to deliver projects across all sectors and scales. Notably, he played a key role in the successful delivery of the 244-bed, £45 million Marriott in Slough, the only hotel in the UK to open during the pandemic. This project has been a tremendous success.
His efforts ensure that FEA remains at the cutting edge of a growing market. By leveraging these technologies throughout the design process, he enhances stakeholder engagement and ensures a seamless transition to site.
Oliver has been instrumental in rapidly expanding our Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Advanced Visualisation offerings.
