2. Information collected when you use our website

This website is a portfolio of our architectural work. You do not need to create an account, make a purchase, or submit personal information through this website in order to browse it. If you want to get in touch or apply for a role, you do so by emailing us directly (enquiry@franklinellis.co.uk or careers@franklinellis.co.uk); the site does not use online contact or application forms.

The only technology on this site that collects information about visitors is Google Analytics, which we use to understand in aggregate how the site is used (pages viewed, time on site) so we can improve it. See our Cookie Policy for full detail.

We do not use forms, accounts, purchases, contact widgets, or embedded social-media plugins on this site.

3. Why we use this information

We use Google Analytics data to:

  • understand how the website is used; and
  • improve website content and navigation.

We do not use website visitor information for advertising, remarketing, or behavioural profiling, and we don’t combine analytics data with any other information about you.

4. Our lawful basis

  • Google Analytics: As of February 2026, UK cookie rules include an exemption for analytics used solely to produce aggregate statistics for improving a service. We rely on this exemption; see our Cookie Policy for how Google Analytics is configured to qualify, and how to opt out.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site uses one tracking technology: Google Analytics. Full details are in our separate Cookie Policy, including why no cookie consent banner is needed and how to opt out if you’d prefer not to be included in analytics.

The Cookie Policy is the authoritative source here; this section should always match it, and both should be reviewed together if the technology stack ever changes (e.g. if a form, booking tool, or advertising pixel is ever added to the site).

6. Who we share information with

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC), for website analytics
  • Our website hosting provider (named on request)

We do not sell visitor information to advertisers or use it for third-party advertising.

7. How long we keep information

  • Analytics event data: 2 months
  • Analytics user data: 14 months

8. International transfers

Google Analytics may process data outside the UK (typically the US), under Google’s standard data-processing terms.

9. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access);
  • request correction of inaccurate or out-of-date data;
  • request deletion of data no longer needed;
  • restrict or object to certain processing; and
  • withdraw consent, where consent is the basis for processing.

To exercise these rights, contact us at enquiry@franklinellis.co.uk.

10. Complaints and contact

If you have concerns about how we handle your personal information, please contact us at enquiry@franklinellis.co.uk in the first instance.

You also have the right to complain to the UK’s supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO):
