Cookie Policy
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can be used to make a site work properly, or to help us understand how the site is used.
The technologies we use
This is a portfolio website. We do not sell anything, you cannot create an account, and there are no forms that collect personal information. The only data-collection technology on this site is Google Analytics.
| Name/provider | Purpose | First/third party | Category | Duration |
| Google Analytics (Google LLC) | Aggregate statistics on how visitors use the site: pages viewed, time on site, used only to improve content and navigation | Third-party | Statistical / analytics | Event data: 2 months. User data: 14 months. |
We do not use advertising, remarketing, personalisation, or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not use social-media embedded widgets; our LinkedIn and Instagram footer links are plain links, not embedded plugins, so they do not set cookies.
Do we need your consent for this?
As of February 2026, UK cookie rules (PECR, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025) include an exemption for analytics used solely to produce aggregate statistics for improving a service. Because Google Analytics is the only technology on this site and it is used only for that purpose, we don’t display a cookie consent banner.
To rely on this properly, we’ve configured Google Analytics so that:
- Google Signals is switched off;
- no remarketing or advertising audiences are built from the data; and
- the data is never combined with, or used for, advertising or profiling.
Because this is a narrow, purpose-limited exemption, we still tell you clearly that analytics is in use (this page) and give you a simple way to opt out; see below.
How to opt out
You can:
- use your browser’s cookie settings to block or delete analytics cookies, or
- install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Opting out won’t affect your ability to use the site: analytics has no effect on site functionality.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add advertising, remarketing, embedded third-party content, or anything else that changes this picture, we’ll update this policy and put the appropriate consent mechanism in place first.
