Upton, Northampton
Project Description: In 2001, Upton was chosen as the location for a scheme to create an urban extension to promote best practice in sustainable urban growth. Franklin Ellis were commissioned to masterplan phase 4 of this urban extension which included 345 houses and apartments around a new urban space. Drawing inspiration from the Northamptonshire vernacular phase 1 delivered a range of low carbon building solutions to eco-homes excellent standard.
